Della Risley, 87 Succumbs in Ava

Funeral services were held yesterday in the Isabella Pentecostal Church for Mrs. Della Ann Risley,87,Dugginsville,
with the Rev. Bert Stewart officiating.

Mrs. Risley, a member of the Pentecostal Church, died Sunday night at Chastain's Nursing Home at Ava.

She was born in Ozark County on July 9, 1886, the daughter of Vant and Martha Wagoner Carrier. She was married to George Newton Risley, who preceded her in death about 15 years ago.

Survivors include four sons. Cephus and Adair, both of Theodosia, Truman, Walnut Creek, Calif., and Fenton of Isabella: three daughters, Mrs. Bamie Sewell, Isabella, Mrs. Finnie Stafford, Flippin, Ark., and Mary Josephine Risley/Wells, Kansas City, Mo. a grandson, Joe Bill Wells, Springfield, whom she raised: one sister, Mrs. Lillie Rowland, Galena, Kans., and several grandchildren.

Burial was in the Isabella Cemetery, The pallbearers were Dick Risley, Pleas McCullough, Johnny Coulter, Hub Ingram, Harla Smith and Roy Smith.
