Arthur E. “Gene” McCluskey
Age 87, formerly of the Vandalia – Englewood area, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016, in Elkhart, Indiana where he had been living in recent years. Gene was born March 10, 1929 in Chickasha, OK to the late Arthur O. & Eula B. (Davis) McCluskey. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Frances, in 2007. Gene retired as an Editor with Lorenz Corporation. He is survived by three children, Joan E. Murphy, Donald E. McCluskey & Mary E. Fulton. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday (8/29) and from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Tuesday (8/30). Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Bruce Jackson officiating. All visitations and the funeral service will be held at the First Grace Brethren Church, 2624 Stonequarry Road, Dayton, OH 45414.
