Calvin Brown, 40, of Tyler's Mill, near White Plains, was killed when a lumber truck on which he was riding with three other men overturned near Shoal Creek in Cleburne County about 9 o'clock Friday night. Mr Brown's death was not instantaneous, it was said, but he died before the heavy truck could be removed from his body. Reports of the accident that reached Anniston today were vague and the details were not known here. It was said, however, that Brown was returning from Tallapoosa, Ga, where he had delivered a load of lumber, and that the truck went over an embankment.
