Lela M. Gephardt, 92, of Grand Island, died Saturday, May 25, 2002, at Wedgewood Care Center in Grand Island.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Grand Island City Cemetery. The Rev. Richard Karohl will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gephardt was born March 8, 1910, at Polk to Adolph and Lenora [Nichols] Page. She attended District 74 School.

She married Michael Gephardt on May 23, 1947, at Cheyenne, Wyo. They lived in Grand Island.

She worked at Model Laundry for 32 years. She worked for Skagway for 20 years and was recognized by the company for her contribution. She enjoyed traveling.

She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and had been active in the Eagles and VFW.

Survivors include two nieces, Carol Tilson of Omaha and Carol Page of Grand Island; and two nephews, Bruce Page of Las Vegas and Louie Spencer of California.

She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers, Merle, Fred, Harry and infant Arnold Page; and a sister, Harriet Page.
