Michael J. Calandra, 89, of Forks Township, passed away Friday, June 19, 2015 at his home. Born January 22, 1926, in Martins Creek, PA, he was a son of the late Antonio and Rose Grimaldi Calandra. He and his wife, the former Pauline F. Heiselmeyer, celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary on December 16, 2014.

Michael owned and operated the former Calandra's Service Center, Easton, for 40 years. He graduated from Easton High School Class of 1944 and served with the Army during World War II. Michael enjoyed boating, traveling, and collecting antique and vintage cars. He was a member of the Ambassador Club and Bangor Elks Lodge #1106.

Surviving in addition to his wife Pauline, are three sons, Michael and his wife Sandy, of Nokomis, FL, Terry and his wife Marie, of Belvidere, NJ and Paul and his wife Estelle, of Allentown; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by four brothers, Jimmy, Nick, Leo and Joseph, and five sisters, Pauline, Marion, Anna, Victoria and Sandra.

Graveside services will be held at 11am Tuesday in Northampton Memorial Shrine, 3051 Green Pond Road, Palmer Township. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com. The Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough, is in charge of arrangements.
