Cloyd A Taylor Sr., 93 years old, formerly of Ickesburg, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015, in the Kin Kora Pythian Home, Duncannon.

He was born September 7, 1921, in Millerstown to Frank and Margaret (Swartz) Taylor.

He was a member of the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.

Cloyd is survived by his wife, Kathleen Taylor; son, Cloyd Taylor Jr. of Newport; daughter, Bertha Whitesel of Millerstown; brother, Howard Taylor of Dornsife; sister, Thelma Reisinger of Ickesburg; 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edna Taylor.

Services will be held on Wednesday from the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport with a viewing from 1 PM until the funeral service at 2 PM with Reverend Jean Felty officiating.

Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. David M. Myers Funeral Home Inc.
