SUE NICHOLAS CHILTON, 77, Scottsburg, passed away June 19, 2015 at her home. She was born November 23, 1937 in Scottsburg.
She was a retired teacher after 25 years with Scott County School District 2. She was a graduate of Scottsburg High School and Indiana University SE. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Scottsburg; Indiana State Retired Teachers; Scott County Retired Teachers and American Federated Teachers.
She is survived by her sisters, Margaret Gasser, Seymour; Betty Caudill, Scottsburg; sisters-in-law, Kathryn Nicholas, Scottsburg, Dorothy Nicholas, Scottsburg; many nieces & nephews including great niece & caregiver Sarah Kahl.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel Nicholas & Alice Donahue Nicholas; her husband Carl Chilton; brothers, Harold Nicholas, Howard "Jock" Nicholas, Leon Nicholas; nephews Mike Caudill and David Caudill and great-nephew Joshua David Caudill.
Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Stewart & Hoagland Gathering Room. Visitation will be from 10–11 a.m.
