MALONE - Hazel A. Loffler, 89. of 45 Rennie St., Malone, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 1991 at the Alice Hyde Hospital in Malone. She had been a patient there since Nov. 23.
Born in Malone March 1, 1902, she was the daughter of Edward and Anna (Willette) LePine. She attended Malone schools.
She was a member of St. John Bosco Church and a charter member of the Altar Rosary Society, the Malone Catholic Daughters, and she held several offices in the past. She worked as an election inspector for the Franklin County Board of Elections for more than 30 years and was an avid bowler.
She was married to Joseph Loffler May 5, 1924 in Notre Dame Church in Malone, by the late Rev. Wilcox. Her husband died Dec. 14, 1972.
She is survived by one sister. Mrs. Margaret Jamerson of Oswego; two granddaughters. Kelley Lynn Pultz and Lori Loffler of Fulton, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. A son, James Loffler, died in 1986. One sister, Frances Muncil, and five brothers, Edward. Thomas, John. Wilmer and Leo (Cy) LePine also died earlier.
Calling hours will today from 9 to 10 a.m. A funeral will follow in the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Roland Gonyo officiating. Burial will be in St. John Bosco Cemetery in Malone.
