Harold A. Daub

CURWENSVILLE - Harold Albert "Pinky" Daub, 67, a guest of Snyder Memorial Health Care, Marienville, and formerly of Curwensville, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at Kane Community Hospital.

Born Dec. 16, 1935, in Curwensville, he was a son of Gilbert and Goldie (McCracken) Daub.

Mr. Daub had worked as a cook for Branding Iron Restaurant, Curwensville, the 21st Street Cafe and Laurel Brigade Inn in Perserville, Va. Prior to that he had been employed by Penelec, Teamsters Local 110 and Construction General Laborers Union Local No. 910.

He was a lifetime member of Curwensville Loyal Order of the Moose, and a former member of Curwensville Veterans of Foreign Wars, Perserville American Legion and Rescue Hose and Ladder Co.

Mr. Daub is survived by three sons, Ronald, Barry and Robert Daub; and three brothers, Samuel, Gilbert and John Daub.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Betty Lenhart and Sarah Graham; and a brother, Donald Daub. Services will be held at Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc., Curwensville, Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Monsignor Joseph K. Bobal officiating.

Friends will be received today from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from noon until the hour of services
