With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Sally Maureen Olsen Curtis. She passed away peacefully on June 19, 2015 with family by her side.
Born March 26, 1946 to John Neldon and Margaret Helen Birrell Olsen, the second of three children.
She married her soulmate, Allen Lee Curtis, on January 19, 1967; he preceded her in death.
Although we will miss her dearly, we are happy about the reunion that has taken place with our father.
Survived by her sons, Darryl and Brad Curtis; grandchildren, Victoria (Ray) McCarron, Mark (Kylie) McCarron, and Jessie (Rich) Parker; brothers, Gary and Johnny (Jackie) Olsen; brother-in-law, Byron (Georgia) Curtis; sister-in-law, Vailn (Dan) Miranker; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by parents; son, Tracy Curtis; father and mother-in-law, Ken V. and Ruby Curtis; daughter-in-law, Holly Curtis; and sister-in-law, Gayle Olsen.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015 at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where viewings will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and prior to the services on Friday from 10:00-10:45 a.m.
Interment: Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
