Arthur Bailey Combs, Jr. was born in Enid, Oklahoma on May 15, 1937 , the third child of Arthur Bailey (Sr.) and Irene May Whitaker Combs. His family affectionately called him "Sonny". He grew up in Enid , attending schools there , he graduated in 1955 from Deer Creek High School. On March 7, 1956 he married Gertrude Fey Vetter in Guthrie ,Oklahoma, they eventually moved to California, and made thier home, and raised a family in the Hollywood Hills. Art made his living as a delivery driver with United Parcel Service(UPS), he was employed with them for over 40 years. Gertie and Art were married 40 years until her death on December 26, 1996. On June 21, 1997 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Art remarried a widow and friend, Audrey Ann Myotte Meyer. Art and Audrey made their home between a cabin in Arboles, Colorado , and a home in Casa Grande, Arizona. Art loved spending time with his family, traveling, collecting antique cars and farming tractors. Art and Audrey were just 2 days shy of their 18th wedding anniversary, when Art passed away on June 19, 2015 in Casa Grande, surrounded by his family. His parents, wife Gertie, infant daughter Tammie Marie and a sister June Combs Hicks predeceased him. He was survived by his wife Audrey, his daughter Sherry Lynn Combs (her partner Sue Decker), his son William Arthur Combs (wife Catherine), his step-sons Jimmy, Greg, and Ron Meyer, and step daughter Valerie Grosjean, his grandchildren Ashley Farley (husband Jason), Amber, Ariel, William(Billy), and Wesley Combs, great-grandchildren Scott, Violet, Wynrie, and Thaddeus Farley, special step-grandson Alex Grosjean and a sister Coleen Combs Vannoy(husband LeRoy)
