They had their first child, Josephine, in Lemont, Ill. in September 1882. Barbara and Albert moved to Minnesota between 1892 and 1895. By then, Barbara had given birth to five more children: Edward (1884), Catharine (1886), Stanislaus (1888), Constance (1890), and Peter (1892).
While in Minnesota, Barbara had three more children: Betty (1895), Frances (1896), and Joe (1898).
Between 1898 and 1900 the couple moved again to Iowa. They had three more children: Mary (1900), Julia (1904), and their last child, Harriet, in 1905.
Sometime between 1905 and 1910, Barbara lost her husband, Albert. She was married again between 1910 and 1920 to Andrew Stefanski - a widower. Andrew passed away on 25 May 1928. Barbara lived for many more years, passing away at age 85 in December 1952 of heart failure.
