States he was discharged from prison in 3/65 with other disabled soldiers and sent to richmond Va. He then received a furlough and "went in search of my command". A.L. Windle and J.H. Lee vouched for his service history.
In 1920 he lived in Sparta. Was paid in 1905 by the U.S. government for his horse that was taken by the Yankees after the surrender. (CWVQ)
