James Willis Hicks, 66, lifelong resident of Logansport, died at 1:15 p.m. today (May 25) in downtown Logansport following a heart attack.
He was a member of the Logansport Masonic lodge and a member of the Bethel Methodist church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Berta Hassell Hicks, one son, James Hicks, Jr., Driftwood, Penn.; one brother, Riley Hicks, Tyler, Texas; four sisters, Mrs. Claude Myers and Mrs Allie Davenport, both of Logansport, Mrs. Pearl Dodson, Ramona, Okla., and Mrs. Donnie O'Day, St. Louis, Mo.
