Robert D. Comley, 86, of Lexington, died Thursday, November 3, 1988, at Good Samaritan Hospital. A native of Franklin County, he was a son of the late Smith and Alice Perkins Comley. He was a retired employee of Procter & Gamble and was a member and deacon of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Ruth M. Neudigate Comley; three sons, Robert Comley Jr., Midway, William S. Comley, Lexington, and Reather F. Comley, London; a sister, Margaret Hunter, Lexington; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services were conducted Monday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Lexington, by the Rev. Sherrill Storey and the Rev. Jamie Broome. Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Lexington.
