Henry Clarence Harvey's relatives were early pioneers in Illinois, Wisconsin, Vermont, and New York. Four of Henry's great, great, grandfathers were Captains in the American Revolutionary War serving under George Washington. Henry worked for North West Airlines then was hired by Pan American Airlines. He worked for Pan Am for 27 years. Henry was a pioneer, in the airline industry. In 1942 Henry was assigned to the Western Division as Chief Flight Radio Officer and Aviador (pilot) in the Latin American Division in Miami, Florida. During World War II Pan American World Airlines had a contract with the US government. Pan Am, its people and its aircraft went to war as part of the US military officially. Pan American's crews that Henry was part of were ferrying bombers and airlifting cargo over these South Atlantic coasts of Central and South America. Pan Am was already deeply involved in the world conflict. In Henry's career he became Chief of Communications Services in the Pacific-Alaska Division in San Francisco, California. In 1961 he was transferred from California to New York, JFK Airport. He remained in New York until he retired. Henry, his wife and daughters traveled to many foreign countries and lived in Japan and Brazil. Henry and his wife retired to Hollywood,
