Glenn Brewer was born and raised in Dallas Center. He moved to Joliet, Ill. where he lived for 42 years. He moved back to Dallas Center 20 years ago.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Jean (Carlson) Brewer; his parents, Calvin and Anna Mae (Hoff) Brewer; two sisters, Rowena Baldner and Pauline Nissly; two brothers, John C. Brewer and Robert G. Brewer.
He is survived by a step-daughter, Sandra Kammerman of Elwood, Ill.; three sisters, Lela Bartholomew of Gresham, Ore.; Betty Coe of Portland, Ore.; and Margaret Lawson, Walnut Creek, Calif.; close friend, Gerda Halc, Des Moines; a sister-in-law, Ruth Brewer, Dallas Center; and numerous nieces and nephews.
