Fallbrook - Harry Oliver Field, 84, died Thursday, March 18, 1999, in Fallbrook.
Born July 3, 1914 in Fallbrook, he lived there his whole life. He was a civil service safety inspector at Naval Weapons Station. He was a charter member of the Palomar Amateur Radio Club, a charter member of the Fallbrook Amateur Radio Group and Fallbrook Historical Society Person of the Year for 1997.
He is survived by his wife, Mabel Field of Fallbrook; son and daughter-in-law Neil and Kathy Field of Kaneohe, Hawaii; son Eugene Field of Fallbrook; daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Luis Gonzalez of Cathedral City, Judy Field of Palm Springs, Nancy Wolf of Santa Barbara and grandchild.
Funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, March 24 at 2 p.m. at Berry-Bell and Hall Chapel with Rev. Art Blodgett of Community Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial donations to Children's Hospital, 3020 Children's Way MC5013, San Diego, CA 92123-4282
Berry-Bell and Hall of Fallbrook is in charge of arrangements.
