Mass for Mrs. Frances K. Lange, 84, of Harper, who died Saturday in a San Antonio hospital, was celebrated Monday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Harper with the Rev. David Meurer, the Rev. Mourice Lange and the Rev. A. A. Gitter officiating. Burial followed in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
Born Nov. 7, 1909 in Fredericksburg, she married Anton R. Lange on Feb. 2, 1932 in Fredericksburg. He survives.
Other survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Elgin O. and Joan Lange of Arlington and Patrick and Teri Lange of Harper; three daughters and a son-in-law, Sister Martha Rose Lange of San Antonio, Sister Frances Lorene Lange of San Antonio, and Helen and Benno Jenschke of Kerrville; five brothers, Al Staudt of Brownwood, Benno Staudt of East Bernard, Oscar Staudt of Oklahoma, Joey Staudt of Orange, and Isidore Staudt of Lake Jackson; four sisters, Elizabeth Reeh of Fredericksburg, Mary Crenwelge of Fredericksburg, Florence Lange of Harper and Johnny Gifford of Lake Jackson; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lorene Lange; two sons, John and Henry Lang; a brother, Max Staudt; and a sister, Helen Mary Staudt.
Pallbearers were Larry Jenschcke, Duane Jenschke, Steve Langlinais, Art Karcher, Clint Kaiser and Tim Lange.
Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg was in charge of arrangements.
