Mrs. Bonnie Marylene Davis Brown, 86, of Royston, GA, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at her daughter's home.
Mrs. Brown was born on September 1, 1935, in Lavonia, GA, daughter of the late Winford William Davis and the late Genevieve Landreth Davis. She was a cafeteria worker having worked at Emmanuel College for 27½ years and was a member of Goldmine Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Russell Brown; sisters, Imogene Hill and Betty Scarboro.
Survivors include her son, Richard Brown (Stacey) of Carnesville, GA; daughters, Wanda Little (Bobby) of Royston, GA, Cathy Hill (Tommy) of Canon, GA and Diane Sanders of Royston, GA; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; sisters, Janelle Adams of Elberton and Joan Roberts (Harold) of Anderson, SC; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Brown will be held at Goldmine Church of God at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, with Rev. Phillip Patterson, Rev. Gary Thompson and Mr. Chris Little officiating. Mrs. Brown will be placed in the church at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. Interment will follow in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park in Hartwell, GA.
The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday evening. At other times, the family will be at the home of Bobby and Wanda Little, 38 Little Road, Royston, GA.
