Mary Theresa Monaco, 88, of Maple St. passed away the evening of January 27, 2013 at her residence. Born in New Castle on November 5, 1924, Mary was the daughter of the late Diego and Carmella LiPani Lamorella. Preceding her in death on April 12, 1988 is her husband, Joseph Monaco who she married on April 17, 1947.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish.
Mary was a self employed beautician for over fifty years. She enjoyed flower gardening and loved life to the fullest.
Survivors include her children, Lynn Monaco of Woodland Hills, CA; Monica Lee Grombacher and her husband Myron of Woodland Hills, CA; Joseph Monaco and his wife Laurie of New Castle; Floyd Monaco of Greensburg, PA; one brother, Vincent P. Lamorella and his wife Irene of New Castle; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary is preceded in death by her two brothers Joseph M. Lamorella, Angelo A. Lamorella and her sister, Louise T. Masello.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish.
