Ms. Annie Mae Patat Adams, 81, of Hall Road, Bowman, died Friday, June 26, 2015 at Hartwell Health & Rehab.
Born on October 17, 1933 in Arnoldsville GA, she was the daughter of the late James Clifford Patat and Marilza Whitley Patat. Ms. Adams was a former seamstress for Hartwell Garment Co. and was retired from Wal-Mart. She was a member of the Houston Lake Baptist Church, Perry GA.
Survivors include her son: Charles Watson and his wife Cheryl of Bowman, her companion for many years: John Adams of Iva SC and his children: Johnny Adams of Hartwell, Bobby Adams of Piedmont SC and Gwen Adams of Iva SC; a brother: William Shelton Jr. of Macon GA; three grandchildren: Ginger Bowen & Scott, Mitzi Jordan & Steve and Brittany Watson & Wesley and six great-grandchildren: Ashleigh Jordan, Lynzie Jordan, Sara Beth Bowen, Addyson Bowen, Brady Bowen and Charley Oglesby also survive.
Ms. Adams was preceded in death by her parents; a son: Lloyd Watson; five brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be Sunday, June 28, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Jamie Callaway officiating. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon prior to the service. The family is at the home of Charles and Cheryl Watson, 2821 Hall Road, Bowman. Flowers optional, memorials may be made to Rehoboth Baptist Church, 3061 Deep Creek Road, Bowman, GA 30624.
