Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Larkin Morningside Chapel, with the Rev. Lee Williamson of Whitfield United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 to 9 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the funeral home. Visitation will resume 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Loraditch was born June 28, 1916, in Harlan, Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Evelyn (Austin) Stutzman. She was raised in the Harlan and Ida Grove, Iowa area and graduated from Ida Grove High School in 1938.
She married David W. Loraditch Sr. on April 12, 1939, in Elk Point, S.D. The couple moved to Sioux City following their marriage. She worked for S.S. Kresge and in the food department at K-Mart from 1964 to 1983. Mr. Loraditch died Aug. 11, 1973, in Sioux City.
She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and playing bingo.
Survivors include a son and his wife, Harry L. and Jean Loraditch of Longmont, Colo.; three daughters, Mary Ann Clarke of Sioux City, Fayth and her husband, Kenneth Olson of Sioux City and Delores and her husband, Larry Greenough of Jefferson, Iowa; a daughter-in-law, Judy Loraditch of Sioux City; a sister, Beulah Johnson of Storm Lake, Iowa; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two children in infancy, Richard and Maxine Loraditch; a son, David W. Loraditch Jr.; a great-grandson, William David Clarke; a sister, Maxine Schultz; two brothers, Keith and Chance Stutzman; and a son-in-law, William Clarke.
Pallbearers will be Bob Olson, Mike and David Clarke, Larry, Loren and Tim Greenough. Honorary pallbearers will be John Olson, Scott Loraditch, Stan Hubert, Brian Heineman and Jeff Badtram.
