Son of John S. Anderson and Elizabeth Bromley. Husband of Lydia Alice Rose Hoffman. They were married in the Moravian Church in Daggett, Michigan in 1935. The couple had five children: daughters Iris (Charles) Harmke of Rolling Meadows, IL; Ethel (Ronald) Dudley of Swansboro NC; Sarah (Gene) LeRoy of Menominee, MI; and sons John (Pamela) Anderson of Tuscon, AZ and Roger (Gayle) Anderson of Ludington, MI. John B. Anderson was a farmer and lived most of his life near Talbot, MI.
