Funeral services for Edward E. Adams, 43, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Rix Funeral Chapel of Hereford with the Rev. C.W. Allen officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Adams died Wednesday in the VA Medical Center in Amarillo.
Born May 11, 1940 in Mississippi, he had been a Hereford resident for 11 years after moving here form [sic] Norht [sic] Carolina.
He was retired from Armour Meat Packing Co., had served with the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam and was a member of the Hereford American Legion.
He married Alma Traylor in 1970.
Survivors include his wife of the home; a son, Tod Douglas Adams of Madison, Ill.; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Adams of Hereford; three sisters, Betty Redus, Peggy Williams and Billie Polk, all of Hereford; and two brothers, Dennis Adams of Hereford and the Rev. D.L. Adams of St. Louis, Mo.
