A funeral for A. Estella Sumner Murdock will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church. She died of heart problems Thursday in a Vancouver hospital. She was 70.

Mrs. Murdock was born in Bentonville, Ark., on Feb. 28, 1921, and had lived in Vancouver since 1945. She was a retired preschool teacher. Mrs. Murdock was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Surviving Mrs. Murdock are her husband, Ervin of Vancouver; brother, LeRoy Sumner of Fort Smith, Ark.; and sister, Betty Robinson of Salt Lake City.

Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family suggests remembrances be contributions to either the American Cancer Society, Clark County Unit, P.O. Box 371, Vancouver 98666, or the First Baptist Church, 108 W. 27th St., Vancouver 98660.
