∼The All Faith Memorial Chapel of South Windsor regrets to inform you of the passing of Alphadetta Abdul-Karriem, 73, of Bloomfield who left us on June 16 with her family by her side.
She is survived by her beloved children Sharon Pearson of E. Hartford, Fredrick Pearson, Jamilia Karriem, Tyrika Karriem and Mahdee Karriem of Bloomfield, Jabril Karriem of W. Hartford and Sonya Karriem a beloved daughter in law.
She leaves behind seven grandchildren Darrell Fudge, Seth Griffin, Shavone Wilson, Yasmeen Griffin, Monica Jaden and Anthony Karriem.
Alphadetta was an avid member of the Masjid Muhammad, worked at Hartford Hospital and retired from the U.S. Post Office.
She was predeceased by her husband William Abdul Karriem. She will also be leaving behind several beloved nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters.
The family would like to thank the family and friends who have supported us over the last month.
Services will be held Monday June 20 at the All Faith Memorial Chapel 90 John Fitch Blvd with visitation starting at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
