Ruth Marie Daum, 100, of Marysville, PA, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015, at her home, surrounded by her family Ruth was born in Duncannon, PA on April 21, 1915, a daughter of the late John N. and Beatrice V. (Dissinger) Fehl.
In her early years, Ruth was the personal secretary for Pennsylvania Governor Earl. Later she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the former Zion Lutheran Church Marysville, where she served for many years on the altar guild.
She was a member of the Golden Age Club of Marysville and the Marysville Lioness Club.
She was the widow of Frank Rupley Daum.
Ruth is survived by a son, six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Andrea Lightner, sister Gwendolyn L. Dewy and a brother John C. Fehl.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 3, 2015, in the Michael J. Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville, PA.
A viewing will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Friday in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville.
