In her early years, Ruth was the personal secretary for Pennsylvania Governor Earl. Later she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the former Zion Lutheran Church Marysville, where she served for many years on the altar guild.
She was a member of the Golden Age Club of Marysville and the Marysville Lioness Club.
She was the widow of Frank Rupley Daum.
Ruth is survived by a son, six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Andrea Lightner, sister Gwendolyn L. Dewy and a brother John C. Fehl.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 3, 2015, in the Michael J. Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville, PA.
A viewing will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Friday in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
