Richard Aubry Saunders, 79, born Oct. 17, 1935, in Muncie, Ind., to the union of Paul and Mary Saunders and went to be with the Lord on June 26, 2015, in Colorado Springs. Richard Saunders Survived by wife, Jan; children, Richard Saunders, Jr., Bonnie Harbert, Dan Saunders, Mary Toomey and Shannon Saunders; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and friends. Richard served in the U.S. Air Force; later worked at the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Department and retired from Colorado Department of Corrections. He enjoyed spending time with all his family and friends. Viewing, 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at Imperial Funeral Home.
