August Winsky passed away peacefully from natural causes at his home on May 30, 2015. He was born August 4, 1959 in Twin Falls, Idaho, son of Vonda and Bill Winsky. August's childhood was spent in the North End of Boise; he attended St. Mary's School and was a graduate of Bishop Kelly High School, class of 1978. Upon graduating from high school, he attended tech classes at Boise State University.

August was the owner of August Home Restoration. He was clever, and had a true skill of seeing how things went together when others couldn't. August was also a die-hard Ford fan; he diligently maintained and babied three antique Mustangs. Most of all August was kind; he would always make himself available to help others. To honor his sister Donna, he volunteered annually for Race for the Cure.

He is survived by his mother, Vonda Winsky; sister, Marianne White Pelletier; brother-in-law, Bruce Pelletier; nephew, George White; nieces, Anastasia Pearson and Isabella Pearson; and brother-in -law, James Pearson. He was greeted in heaven by his father, William Winsky; sister, Donna Winsky Pearson; nephew, William White; brother-in-law, Dr. George White Jr.; as well as both sets of grandparents.

A Vigil service will be held at the Good Samaritan Society Chapel on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 6:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 11:00 am, followed by an inurnment for both he and his sister Donna, at Dry Creek Cemetery. A reception will be held at Nam King restaurant following the service.

Donations in memory of August may be made to St. Mary's School, or the Bishop Kelly Foundation.
Memories and condolences may be shared with the family on August's webpage at www.summersfuneral.com.
