James Boyle is my 2nd great grandfather. It's difficult to tell from the photograph, but I believe that the death year of 1884 is incorrect. I have a copy of his obituary from the North Adams Transcript 09 Sep, 1914, stating he died on 08 Sep 1914. The records we have for his birthdate are all over the place. Clearly the stone is marked 1835, but the most consistent records I can find, and which are corroborated in other family member's trees is 20 Jun 1837.
