Bud Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Miller of Drinkwater Saak, Canada, passed away July 31, 1918. He was born in Wayne County, Kentucky in 1883 and was united in marriage to Miss Rosa McLair of Monticello, Ky. in 1904, and to this happy union four children were born. He leaves to mourn his death his wife and four children, Albert, Lillian, Earl and Mamie, a father, mother and six brothers, James, Matt, Rube, George, Beckham and Arthur, and three sisters, Mrs. Everett Lair of Belle Plain Saak Mrs. John Snyder of Drinkwater Saak, and Mrs. Glenn Snyder of Bedford, Iowa. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

A precious one from us has gone
A voice we love is still
A place is vacant in our home
That never can be filled.

Weep not for me my loved one dear
I am not dead but sleeping here
And where I am you soon must be
Prepare for death and follow me.
