"FRED W. DIERDORF SR.
Fred W. Dierdorf Sr., 72 years old, 12 South Eighth street, West Terre Haute, died Thursday at Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis. He was a retired postman and piano rebuilder, and in his earlier years had operated with his father, the former Dierdorf Piano Manufacturing Company in Indianapolis. Surviving are the wife, Marie; three daughters, Mrs. Pauline VanHook of Chicago, Mrs. Wilma Tooley of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Helen Cork of Marshall, Ill.; five sons, Milburn of Phoenix, Ariz., Edwin of Tucson, Ariz., Capt. Fred W. Dierdorf Jr., stationed in London, England; Herbert R., of Mooresville, and Charles Dierdorf of El Paso, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Elsie Pauli and one brother John of Indianapolis and 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was a member of the West Terre Haute Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite, Valley of Terre Haute; White Shrine of Terre Haute, and a past patron of the West Terre Haute Order of Eastern Star. The body was brought to the Bedino Chapel of the Valley."

Funeral services for Fred W. Dierdorf Sr., 72 years old, who died Thursday, will be at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Bedino Chapel of the Valley. The Rev. Marvin Maris will officiate and burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Members of West Terre Haute Masonic Lodge will conduct graveside rites. The West Terre Haute Order of Eastern Star will conduct memorial services at the funeral home at 7:30 o'clock Sunday night. Friends may call at the funeral home."
