Acme--Funeral service for Clara Melvina Cauthon of Acme, 66, wife of John Cauthon of Acme, who passed away at her home February 27, were held in Acme United Church Sunday, Rev. E. Davidge conducting services at the church and at the graveside.
Mr. and Mrs. Cauthon came to Acme in 1927. Besides her husband she leaves five daughters: Mrs. Garrett Blough, Timmins, Ont.; Mrs. James Jackson, Acme, Alta.; Mrs. Ronald Huson and Mrs. John Adams of Endiang, Alta.; and Mrs. Ase Brower of Hanna, Alta.; two sisters, Mrs. S. J. Stephens of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. C. E. Ballinger of Englevale, North Dakota, and two brothers, George Loomer of Portland, Oregon, and Charles Loomer of Endiang, Alta. There are also 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
