Dolores Mae Greene, 68, 1930 Melrose St., died at 5:50 a.m., Wednesday, April 24, 1985, in Rockford Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born Nov. 15, 1916, in Rockford, daughter of Roy and Maude Hopkins Greene. Lived many years in Rockford. Worked in films in Hollywood with Three Stooges; later taught school in Peoria, New York state, Beloit and Rockford, last at East High School. Member Trinity Lutheran Church. Graduate of Rockford High School and Rockford College; studied music in California and earned master's degree in music at University of Illinois. Survivors include three nieces, Mrs. Kent (Becky) Bucholz, Elk Grove Village, Mrs. Robert (Cindy) Bunker, Roselle, and Debbie Greene, Rockford; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Lamont (Betty) Clikeman, Rockford. Predeceased by parents and a brother, Richard W. Greene.
Services at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27, in Julian-Poorman Funeral Home, 304 N. 5th St., with the Rev. Dale W. Hallberg, pastor of Trinity Lutheran church, officiatng. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. No visitation. Memorials to Friends of Brightside. 4-25-3
