Bessie Gaines Cowdrey
Mrs. Bessie Gaines Cowdrey, 84, of Rte. 2, Indiantown Rd., Stuart, died at Martin Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, Oct. 19 after an extended illness. She was a native of Kansas and had been a resident here for the past 54 years. She was of the Methodist Faith. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Grace Menninger, of Topeka, Kans., and Mrs. Robert McPherson, of Stuart, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services and interment will be in Topeka, with Johns Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
