Betty Hesseltine, 83, of Des Moines passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames.
Betty was born February 23, 1932 to Irene (Bass) and Paul Stolte in Dodge Township in Boone County.
Betty graduated from Luther Consolidated Schools in 1950. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading prior to her losing her eye site, after which she listened to books on audio. She also enjoyed cooking and going on picinics.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; parents; and son, Rodney Barton.
