Age 55, a lifelong resident of Oscoda, MI died on Sunday, June 21, 2015.
The funniest guy we know was born in Tawas City, MI on August 9, 1959 to the late Delbert and Jeanne Curley (nee Brunet).
Jerry worked as an airframe and power plant technician at Phoenix Composite in Oscoda, MI. He was also a painter for several years after starting his career with his grandfather. Jerry enjoyed cooking, fishing, searching for artifacts in the AuSable River and teaching others his Jerry Rigger ways. He would take on any challenge always finding a way to create a smile. He was always up for a prank and he took pride in being an amazing grandfather.
He is survived by his three children; son Cory Curley of Oscoda, MI, daughter Sarah (Cory Uhlbeck) Curley of Oscoda, MI, son Brad Curley of Oscoda, MI; brother Mike (Dawn) Curley of St. John, MI, brother Donny (Jackie) Curley of Newberry, MI, sister Kellie (Dick) Govitz of Beaverton, MI; three grandchildren; Jenna Koenig, Camden Uhlbeck, Zoey Curley, Grace Curley and 5 nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Curley and nephew, Matthew Curley.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 29, 2015 at 11 am at the Oscoda Assembly of God Church with Reverend Thomas Barbret officiating. Memorials may be directed to the Brad Curley Education Fund and you may offer your condolences at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
