Sarah Melvina (Graves) Price is buried next to her husband, Joseph Wilson Price. She was the daughter of Rev. Elijah Graves & Sarah Ann (Powell) Graves who are both buried on their old home place which is today the property of one of their descendants, Mr. Reuben Graves of the Hebron community in Jones County.
Mrs. Melvina Price went by several nicknames - "Mell", "Vina" & "Vinie." She applied for a Confederate widow's pension the year her husband died in 1934. She died the following year at the age of 88 due to acute bronchial pneumonia.
