Services for Mrs Betty Whitt, 89, of route 6, will be at 2 pm Tuesday in the Exchange Avenue Baptist church, with burial in the Wheatland cemetery. She died in a local rest home Sunday following an illness of three years.
Born in West Virginia, Mrs Whitt came to Oklahoma in 1906. She lived in Tecumseh and Jackson county before moving to Oklahoma City in 1920. Her son, Oren Whitt, of the home, is the sole survivor.
