OSCAR WILLIAMS Oscar Williams, 92, a lifelong resident of Rock Camp, was pronounced dead on arrival at Lawrence County General Hospital at 6 A.M. today.
Born in Lawrence County, the retired farmer was a son of the late John and Almeda Willis Williams. He was a member of Leatherwood Baptist Church.
His wife, Cora Ashworth Williams, died in 1910.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. W.E. (Racie) Melvin of Rock Camp, Mrs. Harvey (Mabel) Keeney of South Point, Mrs. Kenneth (Ortha) Willis of Kitts Hill, Mrs. Lucy Schug of Wyandotte, Mich. and Mrs. Mildred Singer of Dayton, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
The body is at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, Ohio.
