Mrs. Elizabeth M. Field, aged 78, died yesterday morning at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Peter Leonard, in North Adams from old age. She was the widow of Charles Field, who died a short time ago. Mrs. Field was born in Hancock and passed nearly all her life there, in Adams and in North Adams. She was a member of the Adams Methodist church. She leaves one son, Fred Field, of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Mrs. Leonard of North Adams: two brothers, Fred Champney of North Adams and Joannes Champney of Rode Island, and three sisters, Mrs. W. О. Saunders of North Adams, A. Mrs. Sarah Dodge of Adams and Mrs. James Leach of Avoca, la. The funeral will take place in her home Tuesday afternoon. James F. Bisgrove will officiate and burial will be in Maple Street cemetery, Adams.
