MACON - Grover Cleveland Andrews, Jr. passed away June 15, 2006 at his residence. Funeral service will be held 11A.M. Saturday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Bill Hardee will be officiating. -Mr. Andrews was the son of the late Grover Cleveland Andrews, Sr. and Mattie Simmons Andrews. He was a graduate of Lanier High School, and was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during WWII. Mr. Andrews was a member of Vineville Baptist Church and was retired from Robins Air Force Base with 29 years of service. He enjoyed playing golf and was past president of Central Georgia Senior Golf Association. -Mr. Andrews is survived by his wife of 54 years Mildred Andrews of Macon; children, Nancy Jordan (Robert), Ronnie Andrews (Lynn) and Barry Andrews; sisters, Eathelle Hamlin and Betty Barnes (Albert); grandchildren, Stacy Cox (Shawn), Chad Goodrich (Lela), Brooke Brower (Chris), Amy Cansler (Andrew), Chris Rigole, Melissa Strout (Kenny); great grandchildren, Bailey, Tanner and Ansley Cox, Cameron and Chase Goodrich, Kaitlyn and Blake Brower, Katie and Jordan Cansler, and Lucas Strout. -The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
