He attended Carroll High School where he was a member of the Junior class. He was a member of the Carroll High School band where he played drums. He was also a male usher at St. Pauls A.M.E. Church, a member of the youth choir, Youth Peoples Department, member of the Afro Study Club, Carroll High School, and a member of the school play Hello Dolly. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Alice Jenkins. Survivors include his mother and father Henry and Clementine Jenkins, Jr., one sister Keisha Miles, four brothers, Henry Jenkins, Anthony Jenkins, Keith Davis, and Kevin Jenkins, grandparents, Robert and Betty Miles, and Henry Jenkins, Sr. He died in Dale Medical center following a brief illness at age 17.
