Mr. Biby is survived by his children; Dr. Lisa (Adrian) Dunne of San Diego, CA., Erika (Rob) Russina of Ballwin,k MO, and Patrick Biby of Belleville, IL; and six grandchildren, Ethan and Cymone Dunne, and Gabriella, Kayla, Gavin, and Carson Russina.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, John Robert Biby, III in infancy; and his sister, Sharon Kae Andreaci.
Mr. Biby graduated from Dupo High School in 1962, then went on to graduate from McKendree College, and also studied at SIUE. Bob was a retired member of the Illinois State Police, Division of Criminal Investigation. He was an avid extra-terrestrial investigator; and went to extra-terrestrial conventions all over the southwest and was writing children’s books about extra-terrestrials. Bob was an active member of the International Blue Knights, the Illinois Chapter of the Blue Knights, the Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, a long standing member of the Illinois Innovators and Inventors, President of the Homeowners Association where he lived in Arizona, a nature lover, Eagle Scout, interested in Native American Culture, enjoyed playing the guitar, writing, traveling, studying ancient artifacts, inventing, and held patents for some of his inventions.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015 at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Columbia, IL.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday, July 25, 2015 at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Columbia, IL. Burial will follow at Evangelical St. Paul Cemetery in Columbia, IL.
