"Dennis Abbl of Willcox died in Tucson on June 30, 2015 at the age of 93. He was born in Keuterville, Idaho on June 28, 1922 to Louis Abbl and Nora Lemire Abbl. Dennis served in the US Army during WWII and was a member of the D.A.V. in Alaska. He was a machinist and welder working in San Manuel for the Sarco Mine and opened the T and D Machine Shop in Willcox. When he retired he followed his love of the outdoors and moved to Alaska where he pursued his career in Gold Mining. Dennis loved fishing and hunting. On October 12, 1947 in Salem, New Mexico he married Stella Rayos who preceded him in death on January 25, 2001. Survivors include his daughters Mary Ann Rallos and Wanda Michem both of Tucson and his sons Michael (Van) of Mesa, Terry of Tucson, Ron (Norma) of Avondale and Tom (Bobbi) of Willcox along with 25 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Preceded him in death along with his wife was a daughter Virginia and a son John Edward. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 A.M. on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment of his cremated remains will follow in Sunset Cemetery. A flag presentation will be conducted by the Ft. Huachuca Military Honor Guard."
