John Orville Cox, 64, passed away July 3, 2015, in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Dallas.
Burial in Indian Creek Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 30, 1950, in Mineral Wells, the son of John C. and Naomi Harrington Cox. He was a lifetime resident of Mineral Wells and a lifetime member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. He married Judy McKinley on Sept. 3, 2014, in Mineral Wells.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Cox, of Mineral Wells; daughter, Amy Cox, of Weatherford; grandchildren, Courtney Cox, of Arlington, and Kevin and Cade Finder, of Weatherford; step-daughter, Susan Fortney Moser and husband Blake, of Tyler; step-granddaughters, Scarlett Ava and Camille Adalyn Moser of Tyler; great-granddaughter, Yarelis Rivera of Arlington; siblings and spouses, Carroll and Bobbi Cox, of Mineral Wells, Weldon and Adonna Cox, of Perrin, and Shirley and John Mallory, of Mineral Wells; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two nieces.
