From the Mears Obituary books - "Mrs. Eliza Ann Lucas, 78, died 18 February 1920. She was born in Randolph county, Mo., in 1841. In 1856 she was married to William (Samuel) Lucas. To this union twelve children were born, two of whom died several years ago. The ten living are: J. F. Lucas, John Charles Lucas, W. H. Lucas, James A. Lucas, Mrs. Sallie Henry, Emma Lucas, Elmer Lucas and Arthur Lucas all of Excello, Mo.; Bingle Lucas of Kansas City, and Mrs. Eliza J. Henry of Iowa, one brother, W. H. Chitwood, one sister in Texas. Funeral at Mt. Salem Baptist church and interment in church cemetery."
