Grace M. Abraham, 95, formerly of Elgin passed away Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011 in Woodstock. She was born April 8, 1916 in Oak Park, Ill., the daughter of Michael and Grace Schukies. Grace was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother devoted first to her family and to her church.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, Aug. 22 at Laird Funeral Home, Elgin to St. Joseph Catholic Church for Mass at 11:00 A.M. Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery, Elgin. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George E. Abraham in 1998, her brothers, Frank and George Schukies and her son in law, Glenn M. Miller.
