Renee Lee Musso Waguespack, 88 a native of Thibodaux and resident of Napoleonville, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015. She was born Thursday, Nov. 25, 1926.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday, July 7, at St. Philomena Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
She is survived by her children, Debra W. Landry and husband, Louis, Donald Waguespack and wife, Danine, and Denise W. Jackson and husband, Joe; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her husband, Gaston J. Waguespack Jr.; son, Dr. David A. Waguespack; parents, Frank P. Musso and Pauline Hogan Musso; and siblings, Camille Musso, Joseph "Buck" Musso, Robert "Bobby" Musso and Frances "Tut" Roundtree.
Renee was an avid Saints fan through and through, even attending a game at the age of 85 with her granddaughters. She was a behind the scenes person and spent a lot of time cooking for friends and family. She will be greatly missed.
